He recently announced that Eucatex would soon be forming a business partnership with the company Duratex. In exchange for sheets of wood, Eucatex will be providing Duratex with a farm to produce raw materials for the company. The plant in Botucata that will be producing the sheets of wood employes 280 people and has a high rate of production.

The production capacity of the factory will increase considerably under this new deal.
