The Colcom Foundation’s main objective is to stop the Sixth Mass Extinction. Life on the planet is sustainable through a web of ecosystems. Though most ecosystems can withstand small changes, as more species become extinct, ecosystems will collapse. Ecologists call this problem the Sixth Mass Extinction. The foundation believes overpopulation is the cause. The only choice humans have to slow down the process is to limit the overall population, according to the foundation. The foundation believes that every nation needs to adopt its ethics to control population growth and immigration and family planning policies that support its ethical goals.

The Colcom Foundation supports many causes that want to achieve a sense of balance between humans and nature. For example, the foundation recognizes the importance of nature to all species. They believe people should have the privilege of enjoying uncrowded outdoor spaces. For that reason, the foundation supports conservation projects, urban forestry, and the stabilization of the human population.

The foundation also supports the Population Media Center. The center uses game-like entertainment to educate others about family planning. Preventing unwanted pregnancies and unwanted births will help to reduce the overall population.

Immigration reform is another cause of the Colcom Foundation. They support several organizations, including NumbersUSA, the Center for Immigration Studies and the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
