After almost 30 years, Alliance Defending Freedom has become a trusted and respected partner to advocate for your most cherished rights on our nation’s biggest stage, the U.S. Supreme Court. The ADF vision is for a world that promotes civility and acceptance for those with differing viewpoints. In that regard, ADF was involved in 74 successful outcomes at the Supreme Court, and specifically represented parties in 15 wins in our highest court.

Without promoting any single faith, Alliance Defending Freedom works tirelessly to ensure that all people of the world have the right to their own religious convictions whether in private or public. In 1997, ADF launched its Center for Academic Freedom (CAF), which promotes the freedom to speech.

Indeed, ADF is deeply committed to the idea that religious freedom extends to every person of any faith, or even no faith at all.ADF has won over 400 battles to protect free speech rights for students at public colleges and universities. Our nation’s institutions of higher learning must remain the free “marketplaces of ideas” that they are, and these young adults must feel free to express their ideas without fear of reprisal.

Human life is precious at all stages. Alliance Defending Freedom defends all stages of human life by lobbying for laws or litigating in court to protect women, their children, and all life from an unnatural end. ADF has successfully intervened to protect a war veteran from removal of life-giving treatment while in a coma. The veteran’s estranged wife attempted to have the measures removed, but ADF intervened and, not long after, the veteran awoke from the coma to continue his vibrant life.

A parent’s right to protect and raise their children as they see fit is of paramount importance in a respectful society. ADF works to guarantee these rights to parents without undue interference or influence from government or schools.
