Defense Of Principles Is The Alliance Defending Freedom Way

The Alliance Defending Freedom has always been quick to make its purpose known. This has been to preserve the religious liberties of people all over the world. The group has been known to defend people of many disparate belief systems. These include Jews, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Shia Muslims, Mormons, and even people who possess no religion.

In 1998, ADF launched the Center for Faith and Cultural Engagement (CFCE). CFCE works with faith-based organizations, churches, and ministries to defend religious liberty while retaining their integrity and independence as ministries.

The point of doing so has not been lost on the people who have generously supported the Alliance Defending Freedom. The group has always made known its central tenet. This is that the government should promote and encourage the growth and development of a nation full of strong families. There is no reason why this should ever be a lost priority.

In order to drive this point home, the Alliance Defending Freedom has been more than willing to put itself on the fighting line. It believes that when school officials have to choose between protecting children or furthering foreign agendas, the choice to be made is clear. The agenda should always be to protect our children over all else.

The Alliance Defending Freedom has gone to court to promote its belief in these ideas. It has sought to create a wealth of case law which can serve to enhance the viability of these central tenets. It has served as the bulwark for the legal defense of the Christian view of life. It will continue to do so for many years to come.

The ADF first came about as a group that was spearheaded by members of the Christian community. Although the majority of them were based in the U.S., this does not mean that the focus of the group was anything less than global.
