Gino Poco Savior of Watford Football club

The parents of Gino Pozzo were major football fans. Giampaolo and Giuliana Pozzo raised their son Gino in Udine, Italy. Many of Gino’s ancestors were past presidents of Udinese Calcio Football Club The Pozzo family has been dedicated to the football club. Pozzo’s father took some of the money from the family tool-making company to buy Udinese Calcio Club. The family went on to own a woodworking business and today, an electrical appliance business in Spain.

When Gino Pozzo was old enough for college, he moved to the United States to attend college. As soon as he obtained his bachelor’s degree, Pozzo went on to attend Harvard Business School where he obtained a master’s in business.

After Gino Pozzo received his master’s degree, he married a Catalan woman named Carla and relocated to Spain to be near his family. For 20 years, Pozzo and his wife lived in Barcelona, Spain before moving to London, England. It was in London, England, that Mr. Pozzo became interested in the Watford FC Football Club. in 2012, Pozzo purchased the Watford FC Football Club.

Watford Football Club was founded in 1930. For decades the performance of the football club was inconsistent until it was bought by Alfie Hale in 1982 and the club joined the football club first division. He changed the name of the club to Watford United. See this article for more information.

By 2012, the football club was in financial trouble. Living with football clubs ever since childhood, Gino Pozzo did everything he could to salvage the football club including changing the name to Watford Football Club. It is not enough to be able to save the financial condition of Watford Football Club, Gino Pozzo is a visionary with many plans to keep the football club on top for decades to come. Pozzo wants to establish a new stadium for the players.
