- Marwan Kheireddine
Marwan Kheireddine was a finance minister for Lebanon. He later became Lebanon’s ambassador to Jordan until 2006, when he left this post due to the passage of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. He was an active member of the French-Lebanese Banking Group (FLBG) (now called Banque Libano-Française or BLF), a private sector bank founded in 1976. He also served as the bank’s vice chairman and finance director of the board while being a member of the board’s executive committee. He had also previously served as minister of state and was charged with the finance portfolio.

AM Bank is a Lebanese commercial bank. It was established in 1997 and is the 70th largest bank in the Middle East. AM Bank has subsidiaries, including AM Pension Fund, AM CICC and AM International Financial Services Company (a private equity house). Kheireddine has served on the bank’s board of directors since 2008, having previously served on the board of two of its subsidiaries.

In addition to being one of the founders, Kheireddine is currently a trustee for Notre Dame University. The general assembly most recently chose him to serve on Notre Dame University’s judicial council. Members of the university’s highest administrative authority make up this important position. In addition, Kheireddine is the founding member of the Lebanon Management Institute at Notre Dame University. He oversaw the development of several management programs in banking, investments, and corporate governance.
