After Doug Haynes completed his education from West Virginia University and Shermet Scholar at the Darden Graduate School of Business, he began his career as a software developer for the CIA and design engineer and marketing professional at GE Plastics. In 1992, McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm, recruited him. Some years later, Haynes reevaluated his career path and realized he needed a change. At approximately the same time, Steve Cohen offered him a position as managing director of human capital at Point72 Asset Management.

Giving Back to the Community/Restoration of a Historical Building
Through Doug’s success, he has never forgotten the importance of giving back to the community. He is passionate and actively supports programs assisting veteran’s causes and the war against poverty.
Doug and his wife, Laurice, are pleased to announce the opening of Fountain Inn Bed & Breakfast. The couple converted the 1740 Historical Estate into a luxurious Bed & Breakfast. They carefully restored the Fountain Inn to return it to the splendor of the 1700s. Guest can relax and enjoy in the Salon, The Dining Room, The Library, The Conference Room, The Sitting Room and the Patio and Garden area. The Inn is in Ridgefield, CT and boasts a rich historical background.
